I purchased a very simple "I by Invicta" model a few weeks earlier and was really surprised by how nice it was for the relatively low price point. With that in mind, I came upon this watch purely by accident. I had wanted to purchase something with a little more heft, and more visible quality. Visually this watch fit the bill, and I was amazed when it arrived. It is a gorgeous time piece. It is so simple, yet has a very commanding presence when worn. The meteorite dial is amazing, and was definitely the deciding factor in going for this watch. Links were easily removed with the aid of an inexpensive watch link removal tool, and the watch now fits perfectly. The hour marks AND the hands are luminous, which is great, and a feature not always available on Invicta watches. The date and time are easily set once the crown is unscrewed. I could not be happier with the watch. Is it worth the $1995.00 MSRP that Invicta claims? No. Is it worth the price here on... Read more
A very unusual watch, January 3, 2012 By This review is from: Invicta Men's 0472 Pro Diver Collection Ocean Ghost Black Meteorite Dial Gunmetal Ion-Plated Stainless Watch (Watch) I have the sister to this watch, the Invicta Men's 0470 Pro Diver Collection Ocean Ghost Silver Meteorite Dial Gunmetal Ion-Plated Stainless Watch, and I'm very impressed with it. It is identical to this watch other than the face of the dial has not been ion-plated to be black. Both are a larger watch (46mm case diameter, 15mm thick) and fairly heavy (my previous day-to-day watch being the Citizen Men's JR3060-59F Eco-Drive Titanium Skyhawk Chronograph Watch, currently unavailable) but quite manageable compared to the Invicta Men's 1439 Russian...
